I feel like it’s still a problem because of the communities and just distance. Ontario, outside of the eastern edge, is very sparse and most of the small towns are still very white-dominated. The presence of people from Africa, the Caribbean, etc. is thought to be fairly recent, but in reality they have been here even before Canada became Canada.
