<p>I&#8217;ve taught the song &#8220;Rise Up&#8221; to my English class and it was very powerful. We listened to the song first, then followed along with the lyrics and lastly watched the music video. It was very interesting to see the different interpretations and connections.   </p>

<p>* Educating ourselves </p>
<p>* Listening to and understanding peoples&#8217; truths </p>
<p> <span>* Standing up for what is right </span></p>
<p><span>* Creating mutual relationships </span></p>
<p><span>* Providing equal access to health care and other resources by reducing barriers    </span></p>
