What is One Simple Thing that your organization could do to center Black youth wellbeing?</a></p> <div class="bb-content-inr-wrap"><p>I think one thing I can do is review and restructure policy and procedures to be anti-racist. Updating policy is something I have wanted to do for a while, they are out of date but I wasn&#8217;t sure where to start when it came to youth. This gives me a framework and resources to learn from.</p>

I agree that there should be Black folks in levels of leadership and within front line staff working with youth. And I love the ideas of involving youth in policy making and creating programs to share their opinions through art, photovoice pieces, surveys etc. I think&hellip;</p>

It is not enough to personally as a white person not be racist. Many people believe is they themselves are not racist than that is the end of racism. We need to challenge the structures built to harm black folks. </p>
