I don’t think this is something that will be something that will every be done easily. I think it comes down to education, but also a willingness from those in power to change. I often feel like it is easier to use quantitative and statistical research in policy and law, but that it is qualitative research (interviews, narratives, personal experiences, art and personal responses and stories,) that really help people who live outside of that narrative and experience to connect on a human level and have empathy…
